A Bit About Me
I’m Suzanne, an integrative counsellor with a relational approach. I’ve completed my Level 6 Diploma in Counselling and am awaiting certification. I’m fully insured, work under professional supervision, and am working towards accreditation.
Soon, I’ll be welcoming clients both online and in person from my cosy therapy suite on the beautiful Bird-in-Eye Farm in Uckfield, East Sussex — kettle on, tissues ready, and a warm welcome waiting for you.
If you’d like to be among the first to book when I start seeing clients, you’re very welcome to join my waiting list.

My Qualifications

Learning never really stops for me, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ve completed my Level 6 Diploma in Counselling and am awaiting my official certificate, while continuing to deepen my practice through an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotherapy. Before my counselling training, I completed an MSc in Psychological Sciences and if we rewind even further, a BSc (Hons) in Biology. All of this informs how I show up in the therapy room: blending science with soul, and theory with real human connection.

My Modality

I mainly work with Transactional Analysis (TA), a down-to-earth and insightful approach that helps us understand ourselves—and others—better. TA looks at how our past experiences shape who we are today, piecing together the puzzle of your personality in a way that’s compassionate and non-judgmental. It invites you to accept yourself as you are and supports healing at your own pace. Thanks to my Level 7 training, I’m also able to weave in other psychotherapeutic methods when needed. This means we can go beyond just talking and reflecting to gently explore deeper, subconscious layers—only if and when it feels right for you.
How does that look in the room? Our sessions will feel real. We will figure things out together, building on the therapeutic relationship to establish trust, connection and healing. You will be doing the work, I will be providing the tools and guidance to help get you there.

My Clients

I have had the privilege of working with a range of clients both online and in-person. They tend to be adults or young people struggling with past trauma, relationship difficulties or anxiety and depression. My approach is compassionate, relational and trauma-informed. My work is neurodiverse and LGBTQIA-affirming. I offer GSRD-affirming therapy, meaning I warmly welcome people of all genders, sexualities and relationship styles.

I don’t sit above you as the ‘expert’ – instead, we’ll work together in a way that feels real, equal, and respectful.

The Important Stuff

I take your trust seriously. I am a proud member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). Working towards accreditation, insured and committed to working ethically and safely. I meet regularly with a clinical supervisor (because even therapists need supervision), and I have my own therapist. Therapy is a big investment in yourself, and you deserve someone who will learn, grow and show up with integrity alongside you.
